Bioapathetic princess Tread lightly whilst exploring the facets of Larxene's psychology. At the surface lies a suffocating air of raw bravado and enthusiasm - which takes on somewhat of a darker tone when one uncovers just what makes her seem so personable. Pound for pound, Larxene is a master manipulator. She has no qualms whatsoever with lying, cheating, seducing, stealing, dealing a few low blows, name calling, arm-twisting, groin-kicking, memory-warping, blackmailing ... You name it, Larxene has done it to get her way. Beware if his nymph is treating you with kindness and generosity... No doubt, she's going to want your blood, sweat, and tears in return. The type who would probably excel with the game of chess - if only she had the patience to learn and the capacity to tolerate losing. Which she does not. It isn't that she doesn't play well with others, either -- In fact, she adores playing with other people. She lives in a world with few boundaries, no rules, and high stakes... and most of the time, she holds all the cards. Or so she imagines. The world (in some imaginable cases, several worlds) is her playroom. It isn't her fault that the playthings she's presented with are often living, breathing people. ' thrice the pain for you means thrice the fun for me ~ ' She shows signs of textbook sociopathic tendencies (often written off as her typical apathetic nature), a distinct fascination with sexual sadism (as described by her favorite author), and displays an infallible and way overinflated sense of self-worth borderlining on narcissism. This sharp-tongued bombshell defends the title of the only female member and unofficial diva of the Organization... Literally, she has no heart. And, judging by her actions, it’s doubtful that she ever had one at all, even before she came to be a Nobody. Outwardly, she shows little interest in recovering that lost piece of herself and regaining her "whole" form, though that is probably part of the intricate indirect rebellions she has taken a liking to. Such behavior has run rampant in Larxene's habits since that somewhat candid friendship with Marluxia had been struck up. All of her so-called ladylike gestures are often dropped in the presence of her pink-haired confidant, although she knows better (perhaps through personal experience) than to antagonize him. Perhaps ... deep within the darkest hollows of her chest lay the dusty memories of what it felt like to be a true-blue human being. To empathize and sympathize, to experience pity and compassion, to live and let live, to wholeheartedly love, to hate... Unfortunately, those distant memories are usually only summoned up to be used as tools in the games she plays. |
